Apple MacBook Pro MD313LL I have been a great Apple laptop owner going back 6 years now. The MacBook Pro collection is, of course, at the top regarding Apple products. The setup of this particular machine was smooth. I was able to transfer all of the data & applications from my previous MacBook Pro for this new gadget without any issues in any way. It is faster. ASUS G74SX-AH71 Great Reviews
ASUS G74SX-AH71 Great laptop for enjoying PC games. Almost a high end desktop as it is quite heavy to carry around. Runs very cool & silent. What I am unhappy is that it system came with Wi-fi card that keeps dropping/interrupting video streaming despite if removing & updating latest Atheros drivers. If there is a method to replace these WiFi with Intel or other WiFi modem I’d personally give it a opportunity. Another negative is who’s came with a scratchy internal speakers compared to other cheaper laptops I’ve used. One will need to work with good headphones or great external speakers or lower the actual just enough to pun intended, the scratchy sound.
UPDATE: 11/10/2011
After using the laptop for many more days found subsequent issues:
a) The number pad is good for using with spreadsheets or even accounting. I could not use the 8, 4, 2, 6 number keys as cursor in some of the games. There is no NumLock key. In its place is often a button to start this default calculator application. This is a BIG unhappy. If anyone figured out and about how uses the secrets in games please feel liberated to update. I have even updated the Bios towards latest & still I can only get numbers but not the cursor or home/end/pg up/pg dn secrets.
b) I was not able to control the scroll speeds while using the Sentelic touch pad or even what Asus calls ’ Finger Sensing Pad’. Even after updating touch pad drivers the two finger scrolling or proper side edge fast scrolling just isn’t smooth as seen with Synaptic touch pads. Sentelic configuration is confined & is no where just like what i have seen/experienced with Synaptic touch pads.

MSI GT780DXR-095US 17.3-Inch Gaming Laptop – Black For being the 5th best gaming laptop regarding 2011 this machine definitely holds up to expectations. All games I have thrown at it may barely slow the appliance down. MSi’ s turbo boost technology is something which will last for years & years in the gambling world. On medium to high settings it may play anything from BF3 to help Age of Empires 3 with no glitch & a steady FPS. But boy is the idea a finger print magnetic.
